From Where We Sit

By Brad Cates

Have you ever heard of Quantum Motion?  I know what you are thinking, is that something I should remember from that physics class I took a hundred years ago… stay with me!  The technical definition for this phenomenon is that Quantum motion involves orbital movement of particles (such as electrons) about some other mass, or about themselves. In simple terms, it is a swirl that never stops. Quantum motion can be embraced, enhanced and even sped up as necessary to achieve a goal, push a team or yourself to new heights, or it can overwhelm and cause the center mass to implode.  Sounds crazy, but my brain loves, thrives on, and actually needs quantum motion.

Since joining this wonderful company almost three years ago, we have been at a heightened level of quantum motion across all facets of the business. For example, the product development cycle never ends. From working with our furniture design team, to exploratory shopping in person or online, or just being in a friend’s home and spying that unique antique that with the right tweaks could become current in today’s design environment.  Physical furniture, the development of furniture, marketing ideas, customer service refinements, warehouse optimization, website upgrades, and making the Sarreid experience the best in the industry are all swirling around the nucleus of Sarreid and are never stopping.

The results of all this phrenetic effort and process are beginning to have a very clear and tangible result.  Most recently we completed an overhaul of the visual presentation of the Sarreid brand that can be seen across all visual platforms. We are introducing over one hundred new products this season that are on hand and in stock.  The Sarreid nucleus is growing stronger as we move along a now intentional path to become your very best source for not only the exceptional, but a whole home resource. We are a company whose products, passion and positioning are immediately identifiable and unmistakably Sarreid.
