Designer Spotlight: Steph Musur × The Jupe Table

At Sarreid, we believe the best pieces come to life in the hands of visionary designers. This month, we’re proud to spotlight Steph Musur, founder of Steph Musur Designs — a boutique interior design studio based in Chicago and 30A, Florida — and her thoughtful approach to our iconic Jupe Table.

Q: Tell us a little bit about your business.

We are a boutique interior design studio based in Chicago, Illinois and 30A, Florida, specializing in high-end coastal residences. Our firm is known for creating fresh, inviting, and thoughtfully curated spaces that blend traditional elements with timeless details.

With a focus on residential design, our studio’s work spans new construction, renovations and furnishings projects, partnering closely with clients to create interiors that reflect their lifestyle. Our team collaborates seamlessly with architects, builders, and trusted trades to guide projects from concept through installation, ensuring a smooth process and cohesive, livable results.

Our aesthetic is defined by airy palettes, layered textures, and refined nods to classic design, resulting in luxe spaces that are both beautiful and highly functional.

Q: How would you describe your design style, and what influences tend to shape your work most today?

Today, much of our inspiration comes from our everyday surroundings, especially in 30A, where there is beauty everywhere you look. Our design approach is guided by refined materials, nuanced use of light, and an understanding of how our clients’ secondary residences function as premier spaces for hosting and entertaining.

With that in mind, our work is centered on creating a refined luxury guest experience and residences designed for seamless, elevated hosting where every detail is intentional, polished, and effortlessly executed.

Q: The Jupe Table is a piece rich in history and engineering. What was your first reaction to it, and what makes it stand out to you as a designer?

We were first introduced to the Jupe Table by our rep at High Point Market a few years ago, and were immediately intrigued by its engineering and quiet sophistication.

Unlike most expanding tables on the market, the Jupe Table reads as one solid, sculptural piece rather than an adaptable or visibly mechanical form — a quality that is far more desirable to our clients.

As designers, we often encounter dining spaces that call for the elegance of a round table but don’t naturally accommodate the level of seating required for entertaining. The Jupe Table is the perfect solution.

Q: Which Sarreid Jupe Table Design/finish is your favorite and why?

Our favorite design is the Casual Jupe Table in Working White, Large, for its understated elegance and strong presence as a standalone piece. The finish has a beautiful resemblance to cerused oak, which aligns perfectly with our coastal palette.

The Jupe Table represents everything we strive for at Sarreid: craftsmanship, engineering, and timeless design working in harmony. Seeing it through Steph’s lens reminds us that the best furniture doesn’t just fill a space — it elevates the way people gather, host, and live. Here’s the proof….
