This year’s Design Matters event was nothing short of extraordinary, and we were honored to serve as the Stage Sponsor for a gathering that so beautifully celebrates creativity, community, and purpose.

As part of our sponsorship, we collaborated closely with Maggie Dillon, who designed the event’s stage with her signature refined, soulful eye. Sarreid was proud to help bring her vision to life by providing a selection of our handcrafted pieces—each chosen to complement the event’s elegant, layered aesthetic.

At center stage was our Alehandra Sofa, custom-designed by Maggie and upholstered in the stunning Peter Dunham Shani textile. Paired with our Stacked Coffee Table and the sculptural Hudson Console Table, the vignette created a warm, elevated backdrop for each conversation, panel, and keynote. Seeing our pieces used in such an inspiring and thoughtful way was a highlight for our entire team.
Beyond the stage, the event itself was a true celebration of good design and good work.

- The table settings were breathtaking—Featuring ispiring tablescapes with original art and floral designs.

- The speakers were insightful, offering perspectives that sparked creativity and reminded us why design has the power to shape how we live…
- Peter Dunhum, Los Angeles-Based Interior and Textile Designer
- Sohpie Newbold, Tuckernuck Chief Creative Officer
- Tori Mellott, Tuckernuck Home & Lifestyle Senior Director
And most importantly, the cause at the heart of Design Matters—supporting the Fitch Family Comprehensive Pediatric Rehabilitation Program at UNC Children’s Hospital—made every moment more meaningful.
We are deeply grateful to have played a small part in an event that lifts up both the design community and families in need. Thank you to the organizers, speakers, designers, partners, and attendees who made Design Matters a standout week.
We left inspired, connected, and excited to continue supporting work that blends craftsmanship with purpose.
Here’s to design that truly matters.
