This month, we are excited to share a captivating adventure from one of our very own, Brenda Ramirez. Brenda recently embarked on a group trip to Peru with 12 other photographers and videographers from around the world, each bringing their unique perspective and passion for visual storytelling.
Their journey began in the historic city of Cusco, the gateway to many of Peru’s most treasured sites. From Cusco, the group set out to explore various regions, immersing themselves in the rich culture and breathtaking landscapes.
Their travels took them to vibrant cities like Pisaq, Ollantaytambo, and Aguas Calientes. In each location, they had the opportunity to meet local communities and learn about their traditions and way of life. Food enthusiasts in the group, including Brenda, delighted in the culinary experiences at every stop, with one of the highlights being an engaging cooking class that introduced them to the flavors of Peruvian cuisine.
The focus of the trip was adventure and exploration, with ample opportunities for the group to capture stunning photos and videos. Brenda recalls, ” the most exciting part were the hikes where we all came ready with our camera gear to capture the views. We visited and hiked Machu Picchu and Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain where the views were incredible and quite literally breathtaking. It was a great trip and I truly enjoyed being able to connect with other photographers who share the same passion as me.”
