As a high end furniture brand we find our products sitting amongst other luxury brands on showroom floors all over the country. So what makes something a true luxury? Is it because it is expensive? Or is it the logo or label that makes it appear so luxurious?
At Sarreid, we feel the true meaning of luxury lies behind quality materials and craftsmanship. Craftsmanship is a form of artistry that gives the end user something special… something to hold onto for generations. Heirloom quality pieces are what we strive for here at Sarreid. Sure, we pay attention to trends and maintain a sense of today’s style, but just like haute couture, our pieces should stand the test of time.
Case in point…in our previous post we introduced you to one of our designers, Thad Bergelin, a long time Sarreid collaborator who uses his European travels as his main inspiration. Meticulously crafted custom hardware to hand applied and layered finishes are what create the essence of luxury. So by the time our products reach the consumer, they have been on long but worthwhile design journey. Here are a few examples…

- The Bungalow Madeline Bed is simple yet sophisticated. This four poster bed has a unique round post that has been quartered to expose the flat sides. It is set apart with a headboard veneered in pine and framed in softly crowned molding. It looks extra fresh crafted in Beechwood with our signature moonskin finish. Don’t miss the accents of brass between the headboard and posts.

2. The Jonas Wine Cupboard Call it a new take on Mid-Century. The look is softened, the edges rounded with pocket doors that smartly fold into each end to maximize storage. Textural vertical ribbing makes it eye-catching. Crafted in reclaimed pine, finished in stone grey.

3. Four Diamonds Sideboard What a very successful mixture of texture and pattern. Then add the subtle color combinations and, lo and behold, you have the sideboard of your dreams. An amazing multi-step hand finish on solid Pine.

4. The Hudson Console Table The perfect size, at 73″w x 16″d x 31″h, to flank any empty wall in your home. The turned and tapered legs along with the multi-step hand finish give just the right amount of bespoke craftsmanship on this solid Pine piece.
