What’s The Big Idea?

By Brad Cates

Brad Cates Working in the “War Room” where ideas begin.

The pace, the growth, the multitude of things to do – from product development to website enhancements – here at Sarreid is frenetic at best.  We could choose to be overwhelmed by this. We could choose to let some things “slide”.  Instead, we as a team, choose to embrace the activity because our teamwork is producing great results…..but more importantly and most consistently, this collaborative effort focused entirely on being your best resource….produces ideas.

In the words of the great inventor Thomas Edison, “The value of an idea is using it.” Never in my career have I had the pleasure to be so frequently astounded by a team that can take just a fraction of what one would consider a well thought out plan and seemingly overnight this “idea” becomes a reality. The implementation of these new ideas has improved our business, our communications, and ultimately… our service to you.

“The value of an idea is using it.”

Thomas Edison

We are all facing the harsh reality of inflation and business in our category returning to what the trade press would call a “normalizing” growth curve. Sarreid intends to be bold. We intend to not fall into the normalization trap, because we have and will continue to turn ideas into action. At the risk of sounding arrogant, we would ask, what ideas big or small are you implementing daily to change your business.  Just like Sarreid, not all will work….but with every near miss there is learning for the next idea implementation.

Sarreid corporately is here to be your partner in thought process and implementation. More importantly, your Sarreid representative is a wealth of information across the industry. We encourage you to make the time to schedule a meeting with your representative to do nothing but talk about ideas. Yes, we want orders, but sometimes a 30-minute meeting to exchange ideas and collaborate might produce 5X the orders over time than just a standard sales meeting.

We’re here to partner. Give it some thought…..it might just be a BIG IDEA.
